Thanksgiving Day

I hope everyone had a great time with family and friends. We had a very peaceful day, there was a plan for the morning to go somewhere but at the end there was a change of plans, with that we stayed home in pajamas taking it very slow. We cooked the turkey and side dishes and had a traditional dinner.

The kids did very well, but Carlitos had a harder time. Some of it was not going out of the house at all and the other thing I noticed today is that he is seeking a lot of attention from us and his sisters. Positive first and if that does not work then he goes for the negative kind that unfortunately always works with the girls. At one time he was hitting a paper they were looking at, I explained to him that bugging them like that makes them less willing to be with him, and his answers was that he wanted their attention.

I had a talk with older sister gong over some concepts and ground rules to better this situations. She is a preteen and having a hard time. The youngest one seems to be ok but sometimes gets frustrated with him too. They had an argument tonight and he immediately went to the front door and left. Is cold and wet outside, I knew he would stay right there cooling himself down, 2 minutes later he was back in more flexible for discussion.

Lately he does not want to be alone or play alone, but has a hard time figuring out how to do it appropriately. We'll work on it. Without a doubt more now than before. Seems like his awareness is better and he realizes more that people does not want to be with him because of his behavior. I guess is good and bad, depends how you see it.
